Spinal Flow® Technique is for anyone seeking to restore balance, release stress, and reconnect with their body’s natural healing intelligence. Whether you are experiencing physical pain, emotional stress, or chemical imbalances, Spinal Flow can help you move from a state of tension and discomfort to one of ease, vitality, and well-being.
The technique focuses on enhancing areas of ease within the nervous system, helping the body move out of “fight-or-flight” mode and into a state of relaxation and healing. Here’s how:
Assessment of the Body’s Intelligence: As your Spinal Flow practitioner, I assess your body holistically, identifying areas where the natural flow of nervous system intelligence is disrupted. These blockages can stem from physical, chemical, or emotional stress.
Activation of Access Points : Gentle touches are applied to 33 access points along the sacrum (lower back), spine and cranium (skull), where the dura mater—a protective fibrous layer around the spine and brain—attaches. These points provide direct pathways to the central nervous system, enhancing communication and helping release tension.
Facilitation of Spinal Flow: Spinal Flow activates what is known as a Central Pattern Generator (CPG)—a natural nerve circuit that creates rhythmic, wave-like movements along the spine. This “flow” is an electrophysiological and mechanical phenomenon that fosters coherence from the sacrum to the cranium, reorganizing the nervous system and creating conditions for healing.
Neurologic Entrainment: The nervous system adapts and aligns with the Spinal Flow, reorganizing old defense and tension patterns into steady, harmonious rhythms. Over time, this leads to improved spinal and nervous system health.
Receiving Spinal Flow frequently and consistently is essential to experiencing the profound results that this healing modality is known for. Just as the physical, chemical, and emotional layers accumulate in our bodies over time, true healing and the release of blockages also take time.
Spinal Flow works cumulatively—each session builds upon the last, deepening the body’s ability to release stored tension, stress, and restrictions.
Everyone’s healing journey is unique, and the way each person responds to Spinal Flow varies, as different layers release at different times. That’s why consistency is key.
After 12 treatments, I will reevaluate your posture, gateways, and blockages, looking for shifts in your physical, chemical, and emotional symptoms. While changes are expected at this stage, another set of 8 to 12 treatments is recommended to allow for deeper transformation and lasting relief. Maintenance treatment is recommended to continue the healing process and support the progress you’ve made.
By committing to this process, you are giving your body the time and support it needs to fully unwind, heal, and return to a state of balance.
Nourish Your Body – Proper nutrition, hydration, and movement provide the foundation for healing. What you put in your body influences how well it can repair and restore itself.
Regulate Your Nervous System – Healing happens when the nervous system shifts out of survival mode. Gentle movement, conscious breathing, and relaxation techniques help solidify your Spinal Flow progress.
Cultivate Emotional Resilience – Emotional stress creates physical blockages. Mindfulness, breathwork, journaling, and self-care help release stored tension and promote balance.
Evaluate Your Environment – The people, energy, and information you engage with affect your healing. Are your relationships, thoughts, and activities supporting or depleting you?
